Are buzz cuts not allowed in business environments?

I work at a credit union with fairly professional dress standards. We have people with military style haircuts (including a former SEAL though nobody is about to tell him how he can or cannot wear his hair) and one VP who shaves his head. The key is that all look professional in their appearance.
