I'm not, and I'm a woman. But, I think the biggest reason some women do, is because society has set rules for us. We're supposed to look a certain way, weigh a certain amount, talk the right way, have the right hair color, have the right job, and a whole list of "must haves" that society has set. Many women are tired of having to be a certain type before a guy would want her, and that's not the way it should be, but it is. Men don't have to worry about those standards as much, and they are not berated like women are for these things. If men would grow some and respect and treat women (especially good ones) with respect, then there wouldn't be such a fear of rejection, would there?????

Kitsilano and Marpole are pretty good, Rupert Park isn't bad, Middlegate would be low on my list. East Hastings is fine in daytime but you probably wouldn't want to be there on your own at night. The West End of Vancouver is good too. Having a car might not be of much benefit if you have to pay for downtown parking in the daytime. It's not cheap. You won't find all day street parking at any price.

This is seriously amazing, I want to read more. If there is more you should post it in the "Additional details". It was written so well, with such good details, yet not too many which is good because you don't want the reader to lose interest. I can picture the scene perfectly in my head because of the way the scene is written, I can hear the voices and visualize the girl's arm. Amazing. However, the one thing you may want to change is the very end when you say "halfway to the door" you should say "halfway out the tent" seeing as that it is a tent, and it doesn't have a door, just a flap. One of my first suggestions would be for you to share how you are feeling with your primary care physician. It sounds as if you have been through a lot of emotional things lately. You may be on overload and developing problems with anxiety or depression. In which case there are medications out there that may help you and also talking to someone that is a trained psychologist. I think there are many things that you can try in addition to the first thing I suggested, but if you are having a problem focusing or getting motivated , I am not sure how much they will help. I would suggest reaching out to friends that make you feel good and maybe open up and talk about the stress that you are feeling. Sometimes just opening up to someone can help immensely. Exercise is also suppose to be very beneficial as it will raise your endorphin levels and help you feel better. I would say that when you get to that state where you feel like you can not breathe , that is exactly what you want to do is Breathe. I would look online for relaxation breathing techniques. A lot of times when we are stressed we are not breathing properly, we are breathing to shallow. I would say take time to sit down and make sure you are breathing properly. Take a deep breath and see if the area right below your ribcage above your stomach is moving when you breathe. Sometimes just sitting down and taking quite a few deep breaths until you feel more at ease can also help. A nice warm bath can be very relaxing and just taking time to pamper yourself can be beneficial. I am hoping that some of these suggestions help and my heart goes out to you for all that you are going through. Last but not least , I don't know if you are religious but if you are , Prayer can help through many hard times. I hope you are feeling better soon. p.s. make sure you are eating a well balanced diet everyday and not skipping meals, sometimes when we are too busy we skip the most simple things we need to be doing for ourselves.

Can you still lose weight with a workout DVD instead of going to the gym?

I recently found an old copy of a Jane Fonda workout video from the 80's when my mom was clearing out the basement. I hate the gym and so I thought I'd give it a try. Anyway, it's a really good workout with 35 minutes aerobics before another 30 minutes floor work (abs, legs, arms). Wondering why my new bearded dragon wont eat..?

\I got him on Thursday, he's a pre owned pet. They said he's 9 months old and eats well. I got him home and i'd had him out a bit too long and he went really quiet and his breathing was labored. I put him in his viv as soon as i could and his eyes were shut, after about an hour or so he woke up and started to move a bit. He ate one or two meal worms and then i left him, giving him time to relax after his move. The next day i put some more meal worms in and he didn't eat them, i put some more in the next day seeing as the others had gone and he didn't eat them either. I got him some lettuce and he munched that down... More lettuce today and he ate that but he's not eating any insects or meats... I'm a bit worried i'm not sure what's wrong. Please could you help? I am not fond of it. As a former teacher I have came across students with bizarre names and when I pronounce them grammatically correct (with the correct short/long vowels) I get dirty looks. Clearly many people have no idea how grammar works and just randomly pick letters to make up a name; they call it unique, I do not. It really can be embarring in the long run for the child.

at the end of last month my ex and i broke up. right when we broke up i deleted my myspace because the only reason i had it was because of him and i prefer facebook. right when i deleted it he started immediately getting on facebook more. this was bizarre as when we were together he would tell me how much he disliked myspace. our break up was "eh" and didn't go over too well which sucked because we had been friends for four years before we dated. though we went thru the exact same charade with an intimate relationship a year ago. it happened all over again. because of our break up and his attitude towards we i decided not to attend his grad party. he wasn't happy about this when i told him but all the sudden all of his status on facebook were pertaining to this party and how great it was so on and so forth. this was weird too because this happened after a month of him not being on facebook so very random. we talked not too long ago and he seems mad or a little odd with me which is weird because he was the one who kept stressing how much he wanted to remain friends. i commented on how ofter he gets on facebook and it got to the point where he told he had "another reason" he got on facebook so much. so of course as an idiot i asked and he told me it was because of a co worker he likes. he then went on to ask ME for advice on getting her # and told me all the places he wanted to take her on a date, all these places being places we discussed going had we still been an item. this just made me mad because it was kind of ish i thought and he kept saying how he was over me right when we broke up so on and so forth. alot of my friends and fam think this kid was trying to make me jealous in some childish way and i really don't know. this is the second time this has happened with us and he always comes running back to me. the last time he liked this same girl then me then again he likes this same girl. we will be attedning college together and will have the same cles. i am ten times more outgoing than he is and he is rather dull with very few close friends, i was his closest. he is a mama's boy, obese, and rarely leaves his house. i am the exact opposite. he also is kind of lazy and lacks ambition and confidence though he is a nice kid really but idk if he just got big headed after dating me or what. we no longer talk, i said i might talk to him in college and i deleted him as a facebook friend because i couldn't be leave he set it up so he could tell me about his new crush. idk what to think but does anyone else think his actions were a way of attempting to make me jealous? he isn't one to approach girls, he is actually intimidated by us and has had two gfs in his lifetime. i don't even know if it is worth being friends with him again though we were so tight. any input?

my father was diagnosed with stomach cancer 5 years ago. It is called GIST. The doctors recommended surgery but our family chose to go to mayo clinic. At that time an experimental drug was being used for this cancer and was given to my father. It is called gleevec. (It is now FDA approved). He had 5 tumors, some were the size of a gfruit. They are now almost non existent. No surgery was necessary and was told this form of cancer should not be treated with surgery. I hope this helps.

I was just roused from bed by my smoke alarm. I ran out of my room and by the time I got there it was off. No sign of smoke or flame. It was very unnerving all the same. Why do I constantly hit myself?

I will be using a wetsuit for the first time in a triathlon. There are no open water areas where I can practice removing the wetsuit after swim for transition. What's wrong with my ferret?

My 3 year old ferret has an enlarged spleen. I don't have much money for testing to see exactly what's wrong with him but the vet said it might just be an enlarged spleen. Ok, so I just turned 31 years old and have never dated anyone nor have a ever had a g/f as hard as it is for you to believe this. In fact, that issue is a common complaint on the local craigslist rant board. I will eventually graduate from college here and will move, but I know in my heart that I will never be able to be "normal" because of the foolish decisions that I have made in my life regarding not going to college at a normal age like most smart American men do. Tracking cervical position, abnormal, well see details ;)?

Well I have been tracking for about 4 months, and I have been checking my ovulation dates, and I think I screwed up :( Not that we won't be elated after the fact, but it was an accident :( Anyways we had unprotected , as always we use rythm method along with pull out, but he didn't pull out once, yea I know that is all it takes. Anyways I am usually low and hard, except when ovulating, well I am high firm now but all around soft, its not the usual hard, and I can barely reach my cervix. Its soft but not like open soft, its firm usually its super soft. Anyways I am only high during my ovulation and AF is due the 3rd on the spot. I have had no cramping this week but about dpo I had slight cramping and a dull low back pain. My areolas have changed colour. They are usually pinkish and the are darker and look diff and are super sensitive. the sides and unders of my are some what sore and I have been dizzy for the last few days. Today I feel a bit nauseated. Lets see what else??? My are super sensitive when my SO plays with them :( But the strangest part is that my Cervix is so high, its never been this high before, and I have been tracking it religiously. HELP!!! I've got tests and I take vitamins religiously as well. But this deff is not something we planned for. He doesn't know yet, and I am not sure. I haven't really had any signs whatsoever of AF no cramping and no head aches which I usually get...

Is it possible I'm pregnant?

I'm 20. About 4 months ago I stopped taking birth control pills because they made me insane. I had been taking them for 3 years and I tried a few different ones and they all made me miserable. So once I was off we used condoms. This month I haven't gotten my period. I did get a few cramps around the time I was supposed to have it but nothing happened. My are pretty sore too and sometimes I get very hungry although sometimes I'm not hungry at all. The condoms were never punctured as far as we know..nothing suspicious or anything and I know it was put on correctly.we didn't do anything for along amount of time so it couldn't have gotten worn and broke. Is it possible that it broke and we couldn't tell? Or could this be from coming off of the pills about 5 months ago? Please help! My bf thinks I'm crazy and says noway I'm pregnant (he would never leave me if I was.) Also I really don't want to goto a doctor because I don't have money for that and I have a very bad phobia of doctors.

Okay, it seems like your family is way too together. Also, you seem like you really need some ALONE time. Maybe a vacation? Have you ever tried to have a very serious talk with your family? I'm sure your brothers feel like you. I think your mom is very dependent, wants to hold on and isn't very socially inept. Why don't you try introducing her to new hobbies or people. my hands sweat a lot lol so using hand grips I imagine would not help me. What I can suggest is putting just A LITTLE BIT of deoderant on the hands and rub it in every morning.

Ok, so I am wanting to get a PRS Tremonti student edition sometime in the future, and while I think the pickups are ok I would rather have some that are more suited to my style rather than general stock pickups. I am mostly interested in clic/southern rock, such as Lynard Skinnard and players like Angus Young, but I am also interested in punk rock like Hawk Nelson and I like some alternative stuff like the old Switchfoot and Sanctus Real. But mostly I want vintage sounding pickups, and from what I have read and heard I am really interested in the Dimarzio Bluesbucker and the Dimarzio Air Clic Bridge, but this is also the first time I will have installed my own set of pickups and I'm not sure if I am headed in the right direction, so I would really appreciate the help.
