My daughter is two and she has unmanageable hair in the back. what can i do?

my daughter is two. the top of of her hair is very manageable but when you start getting to the middle all the way to the back its so hard i cant get a wide-tooth comb or a brush through it. i have been debating on putting just for me texturizer. my question is should i but this texturizer in her hair or is there something Else i can do. i don't want to lose her curls they are very beautiful it just takes a lot of time to detangle the back and when i do detangle the back and put redken ringlet product it stay s for about two hrs and then its looks like i didn't even touch her hair that day.
