I think he's just trying to hold on to you for security. i say this because my ex did this to me because he also knew I cared for him still and had another gf the TOTAL opposite of me and how he portrayed himself to be. I think he's really trying to get over you also by trying to have a "wild" gf and doing the things he's doing. if u still want to be with him be patient they always come back. Those random phone calls don't stop no matter how hard they try not to call. But if you really want to move on then you should just be open and honest with him maybe send him a text msg something informal so he reallly doesn't have a chance to respond. Just get ur point across and move on. Good Luck!!
