Wouldn't it be a good idea to legislate pro sports out of business to help global warming ?

This does not go far enough, comrade! To properly save the planet this time, we need to legislate EVERYTHING out of business! With all that pesky prosperity gone, government can take over all functions and pay for it all by declaring dandruff or something as the official medium of exchange and paying the bills with that. THen the government can p resolutions which demand that the climate cool down and the crisis will over and we will all be saved! Hooray!
