No fuel required to transport from one place to another, isnt it possible?

Because the 'roller coaster' would require carts, and every time a cart carries a load of potatoes down the track (isted by gravity), you will need to expend energy (some form of fuel) to return the cart to the top of the roller coaster, so it can carry another load of potatoes.
